Slufter
Slufter is a bit like the Mimic Octopus. Learning tricks from across the dance music sea, Slufter performs an original set with live keyboards, synthesizers, live MPC sampling, and occasional live bass and percussion that borrows from different decades and genres in dance music to resemble the flow of a DJ set. He may not have eight arms like an octopus… but that doesn’t stop him from juggling eight hands worth of gear. His busy hands play tracks influenced by electro, funk, techno, R&B, new wave, jazz, and video game music.
